Hardwood Wrench™:

The Hardwood Wrench™ is a deck board straightening tool. This is most useful tool to be invent since the hammer for anyone wanting to build a deck. There was a deck wrench on the market for a long time. It was did the trick, but the problem was that it was so cheaply constructed that it broke as often as it straightened a deck board. It also wasn't reversible, so if you had a deck board that was warped and it was close to a wall, you could just forget about using it without going through horribly time consuming methods of straightening the board like a cave man would or even building a second temporary deck just for straightening boards.

The problem is, some shady people are making some really crappy hidden deck fasteners out there and this is giving all of them a bad reputation. Some pros don't like to suggest them because they extend the life of your deck boards.
