The Hardwood Wrench is a brand new one man decking tool. This revolutionary deck tool is a self-locking board bender and tongue and groove joining device. People looking to use a robust and dependable deck tool can turn to the Hardwood Wrench® to straighten bowed deck boards during installation. It cam locks into place with ease and applies much more bending power than other deck board bending tools on the market. You can learn more about this tool at the Hardwood Wrench® website.

A Hardwood Wrench® has the following features:

Cam locks in place for true hands free “one man” operation

Capable of bending multiple boards simultaneously

High quality anodized aircraft grade aluminum with hardwood handle

Easily reversible handle

Adjusts to various sized joists

No extra tools are necessary

A solid steel deck tool

Proudly made in the USA

Besides the hammer, the Hardwood Wrench® is most useful tool for anyone wanting to build a deck. There are other deck wrenches on the market and some are even serviceable. However, while only some work, the major problem is that they are so cheaply constructed that they break as often as they straighten out a deck board. In addition, other deck tools also fail to be reversible, so if you needed to fix a warped deck board that was close to a wall, the decking tool you had would be useless. Or, worse, you could try using it and end up going through some excruciating and time consuming “methods” of straightening the board. These methods include, jumping up and down on the board; kicking the board; and asking the board very politely if it will straighten itself out. If you are considering any of the above methods, then I think you’d be a good candidate to be a Hardwood Wrench® owner.
